“It’s an old hotel, adequate for short stays! If you are looking for something that reminds you of the old days this is for you… it was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable. If you are a senior citizen and you need safety bars in the bathroom make sure to inquire about an appropriate room.”

“My room was never cleaned up around the pool was not working and had to climb stairs with a special needs child”

“The room was adequate as far as the bed. General cleanliness lacked The bathroom had many holes in the wall that had not been patched. Brown splash stains on the wall. Shower head was filthy The water tank cover was not the proper one. Could see the water in the tank.Major safety issue. Towels had holes in them. Toothpaste stains on sink faucet.”

“We loved our stay at Casa Escondida. From beginning to end, the communication was excellent. Our food preferences were asked for, and our instructions for getting there were clearly defined. The breakfast was superb both days, and our chef shared local information and what we might like to see for that day. All the staff were so nice, and the people staying there at the same time as us were equally lovely.”

“I am not sure if it was just the two rooms we booked, but our rooms were old, needed repairs and not very clean. Our bathtub had packing tape holding together tile on the side. The carpet was very old and needed a deep clean. The sleeper couch looked like it was an original from the opening of the hotel.”

“Wonderful stay however all the coffee in the room was decaf when we tried to call the front desk the phone didn’t work in the room. Very frustrating for coffee drinkers. It’s not that difficult to have regular coffee, and sugar besides the old school gross sweet n low that no one uses anymore. The food was excellent. Just fix your phones and your coffee.”
